Sure, other attractions may be open to all, but Fairytale Farm is specifically designed and laid out for disabled children first meaning that it’s truly inclusive and accessible.
The farm itself mixes fairytales, animals and adventure play into one big sensory wonderland that the whole family will love. It’s split into seven main zones:
- Jack’s Yard has indoor and outdoor fun. You can milk a cow, make a wish and even party with Mother Goose.
- Enchanted Walk is the ultimate sensory experience. With fountains, lights and instruments, you’ll use all 5 senses on this magical journey.
- Fairy Dell Adventure Playground will make little ones feel the size of a fairy amongst giant toadstools and blooming bells as they climb and slide around.
- Dino Valley (home to life-sized dinosaurs like T-rex, big bird and water dino) is where budding paleontologists can do their first dig.
- Huff and Puff Adventure Playground has all the classics from swings to slides, for kids of all abilities.
- Alfie and Friends is the educational animal zone which Alfie the Alpaca and his motley crew of ponies, goats, pigs and more call home.
- Wilderness Walk is a mini world of nature. Follow the willow tunnel to the wild garden, check in at the bug hotel and try your hand at growing veggies.
It all comes together into one family-fave spot that everyone can visit and get involved in, whether disabled or not.
