Tours last around 75-90 minutes, but remember to allow time for queueing too.

Bring a jumper if you tend to feel the cold, the Dungeons environment emulates the dark, damp and dingy feel of London at night.

Pre-booking is the only way to guarantee entry to London Dungeon as it does get very busy. It will also save you a few quid – bonus.

There is one ride at London Dungeon – the Drop Dead: Drop Ride emulates the feeling of the ‘long drop’ at Newgate Gallows. If you don’t fancy it, it’s optional so don’t worry.

It’s a popular attraction so there can be queues, but booking a timeslot helps regulate queue lengths. During off-peak times, expect between 15-30 minutes, increasing to 30-60 minutes during peak times.

We’ll be real with you – the experience is filled with loud noises and jump scares (not to mention the scary stories), so if you’re easily spooked it might not be for you.

The attraction is recommended for visitors aged 12 years and older, but you can bring younger kids at your discretion – just bear in mind that this is a dark, dingy environment with loud noises and unexpected scares, so it’s not for everyone.
