Monkey World is suitable for all ages. Younger children tend to love seeing the baby primates and watching the chimps play, while older kids and adults appreciate the conservation stories behind each animal.

Yes, the majority of paths around the park are pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Some areas of the 65-acre site do have slopes, so be prepared for a little uneven ground in places.

Yes, there is an on-site café serving hot and cold food and drinks. There are also picnic areas if you'd prefer to bring your own lunch.

Most families spend between three and five hours at Monkey World to comfortably see all the enclosures and catch a couple of keeper talks. A full day is easily justified.

Dogs are not permitted inside the park, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.

Much of the park is outdoors, so it's worth checking the forecast before you go. The primates are generally still active in light rain, but there is limited covered shelter, so waterproofs are advisable.
