Because the performances are live — and often unscripted — exact finishing times can vary. However, here’s a general guide to help you plan your night: Comedy Carousel: usually finishes around 10:00–10:30pm Friday Night Comedy: typically ends between 10:00–10:30pm Saturday Night Comedy: normally finishes around 9:30–10:00pm Comedy Tour Shows: tend to run until 9:30–10:30pm Music Shows: have an 11pm curfew, with most ending around 10:00–10:30pm For exact timings for a particular touring act or headline show, it's best to contact the Box Office, as each performer may vary.

Is there a dress code?

There’s no formal dress code at The Glee — you’re welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Some people like to dress up for a night out, while others keep it casual. All styles are welcome. Fancy dress is absolutely fine too, so feel free to get creative. The only rule is that anything which might block someone’s view or disturb the show — such as oversized hats, flashing accessories or noisy props — will need to be removed.

Can I use my phone? Can I take photos or recordings?

No — phones must be on silent and put away during the show. This helps everyone enjoy the performance without distractions. Just like in the cinema, a glowing screen or unexpected ringtone can spoil the moment for the people around you and for the performers on stage. It’s also illegal to film or record live shows, so keeping phones out of sight ensures we can maintain that rule fairly and consistently. Even a quick glance at a bright screen can light up your face “like a Christmas tree,” which is distracting for other audience members — and for the acts trying to perform. You’re welcome to use your phone before the show, during the interval, and afterwards. If you urgently need to use it while the show is in progress, please step outside the auditorium to do so.

For some shows, you can pre-order your food & drinks ahead of your visit by placing orders through MY GLEE at least 2 hours before show doors open. Alternatively, you may be able to order food from the bar, or our table service system, on the night.

For certain music gigs, and any shows in the Studio Room, no food will be available.

The Main Room and Studio Room also offer bar snacks including crisps, fresh popcorn and locally-made pork scratchings.
