The Shard

A great location for family days out, The Shard is situated next to London Bridge station and is one of London's most modern and iconic buildings, with a whopping 95-storeys gazing out across the city.

At the top of the skyscraper is The View from The Shard, a guided tour which not only offers unparalleled 360-degree views but also a fascinating insight into London's 1000-year history, bringing to life the streets, people and river 310 metres below.

If the weather behaves, visitors can see for an incredible 40 miles and, if the weather spoils your view, the Weather Guarantee allows you to return free of charge. Days out don't get much better!

Tickets also give access to the Skydeck, where you can treat yourself to a range of hot and cold drinks, as well as snacks.

Due to The Shard's handy location, public transport is the best way to get there.

Visitors in wheelchairs can gain step-free access to The View from The Shard, with accessible lifts available from street level to the ticket office, and then up to the different levels of the tour.

Toilets are available on Level 1 and Level 68, with baby changing facilities and disabled access.
