Blackpool Attractions you probably didn’t know are closing for winter

Go Back Read on

Wait, it’s not just theme parks that are closing for some Winter months?! Unfortunately, that’s right.

But don't worry, we’ve got the 411 on all the Blackpool attractions that’re saying ‘tra’ to us all for a little while (sad face).

The Blackpool Tower Eye – Closes 13th November (re-opening 2023 TBC)

It’s time to say goodbye to those epic views of the North (although, if it was open through Winter, you probably wouldn’t be able to see much of anything). Get yourself booked in ASAP if you wanna learn all about Blackpool’s history – in 4D, no less – before heading to the top of the tower.

The Blackpool Tower Circus – Closes 6th November (re-opening 2023 TBC)

No more jaw-dropping stunts or illusions either? This is getting ridiculous now. The Blackpool Tower Circus’ main events are also bidding farewell – but there are still spectacular Christmas events to keep you entertained.

The Blackpool Tower Dungeon – Closes 5th November until 2023 (date TBC)

We bet you wusses out there are relieved that this one is closing for a bit... All Blackpool scares will be put on hold (but going once is enough to give you nightmares for a lifetime – sorry not sorry). You like it spooky? You’ve still got time to check out their Halloween special, ‘Reaper’s Retribution’ - that’s ought to scare you.

Madame Tussauds Blackpool – Closed midweek from 7th November until 21st December (closed on Christmas Holiday dates – 24th, 25th & 26th)

Now this one isn’t completely closing BUT you’re limited to weekends only – which means it’ll be heaving (no thanks). So, you best get in here quick to meet all your fav celebs (we’re talking Ed Sheeran, Doctor Who and Captain Marvel – wow).

Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Closed from October 30th / November 27th

This one closes a little later in the season so there’s still some time to ride The Big One (it just might be a bit chillier up there). The park is only open on weekends throughout November though, so just keep that in mind. Their last month of business-as-usual is October which is the perfect opportunity for a half term trip, if you ask us.
