Zipworld

There are plenty of things to do to get your adrenaline pumping whatever your age, with Zip World's exciting rides and activities, towards the north-east, centre and north-west of Snowdonia National Park.

Each of the three Zip World locations have different attractions and challenges to tackle, but each offer equally brilliant days out to remember.

At Fforest, adventurers may want to experience Skyride 2, a giant swing for up to five people, Plummet 2, a hair-raising 100-foot freefall drop for those feeling especially daring, or a zip wire adventure on Zip Safari 2.

Tree Hoppers adventure course is great for your little monkeys (aged five and up) to burn off some energy, while Treetop Nets and Forest Coaster are perfect for even younger explorers.

At Zip World Penrhyn Quarry, are you brave enough to give the world's fastest zipline a go? Velocity 2 will shoot you through the forest on an exhilarating ride at speeds of over 100mph, while you and a friend can fly side-by-side on Big Red, the ultimate mobile zipping adventure. Those preferring to stay at ground level might enjoy Quarry Karts - the UK's only mountain cart experience.

For the rest of the family, the Penrhyn Quarry tour may be more suitable and it even comes with tea and cake.

At Slate Caverns, kids aged over seven will love the underground bouncing extravaganza with Bounce Below, while you can also take on Europe's largest zip zone with Titan. Older explorers can also tackle Caverns, an underground course through a disused slate mine.

Each of the Zip World locations offers food and drink on site and free parking, while Fforest also provides disability access to some areas.
