Explore Durham and its UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed castle and cathedral – which you’ll find atop a stunning hill that overlooks the River Wear below.

And you foodies will just love Newcastle too – with loads of stunning restaurants as well as their iconic Sunday market stalls.
