Each activity at The Bear Grylls Adventure is booked separately so your ticket provides access to the specific activity you have booked plus unlimited access to the Royal Marine-inspired assault course.

Comfort is key here. You'll need to be able to move freely so activewear is your best bet. For any diving activities, you’ll need a swimming costume and towel. For activities like the Zip Line and High Ropes, your clothing will need to cover any area of the body that meets the harness.

Yes, there is step-free access throughout. Wheelchairs users can also take part in Shooting, Axe Throwing, Archery, Escape Room, and iFLY activities.

Each activity has its own age, height, weight and medical restrictions. Check the “What’s there to do at The Bear Grylls Adventure” section to find all restrictions. Pregnant women are not permitted to take part in any activities.

The minimum age for most activities is 8 years old but Diving and Shooting have a minimum age of 10.

8 and 9 year olds must be accompanied to the activity by an adult (with a full activity ticket). For most activities, children aged 10 and over must be accompanied by an adult, however they don’t have to partake. Children of all ages must be accompanied on the activity for Shooting.

Paid parking is available at NEC Car Park East 5. Please book disabled parking ahead of time on the official website.

Activities range from 30 minutes – 120 minutes in length. All tickets also include unlimited access to the Royal Marine-inspired assault course.

The Bear Grylls Adventure is located at The NEC Birmingham, just off the M42 at Junction 6. If you’re arriving by train, the venue is 10 minutes’ walk from Birmingham International station or, if you’re driving, there is paid parking available at NEC Car Park East 5 (please book disabled parking ahead of time on the official website).

Please check the Attraction’s operating calendar for opening times and dates. Tickets may not be valid for special events or concerts which may attract a separate admission fee.

No person under the age of 12 will be admitted to the attraction unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and such child or children whilst on site must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times. Merlin attractions reserve the right, in its absolute discretion to change the age restrictions referred to in this condition, if any particular circumstances so require in the interests of safety and security.
