Isn't not always easy touring round London, it's busy, probably raining and most importantly, it's impossible knowing where to eat.

So, that's why we've been extra helpful in collecting our top spots for breakfast and brunch in Westminster, London.

1. Regency Café

Starting with a true-blue British brekkie spot, Regency Café is the best spot to get a no-frills fry-up. Locals and tourists (who’re special enough to know it) love this café for its bargain breakfasts, though the café does open for lunch and dinner too – expect jacket potatoes, steak pie and bread-and-butter pudding.

2. Peggy Porschen

Pretty much the complete antithesis of Regency Cafe, Peggy Porschen is probably the pinkest place you’ll find in London. This one is the perfect spot for breakfast in Westminster if you’re up for something a little lighter than a fry-up. Looking for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up? Peggy Porschen is the perfect café in Westminster for a sweet treat to keep you going.

3. The Wolseley

This is the perfect spot for a slightly fancier breakfast or brunch in Westminster, with the Wolseley serving up traditional English breakfasts, smoothies and homemade viennoiserie (which is fancy talk for French pastries). Breakfast is served until 11:30am – in perfect time for you late risers to sneak in.

4. Market Hall Victoria

Head over to Market Hall Victoria and tuck into some seriously deliciously scran. This one is definitely more of a brunch spot in Westminster - but one worth checking out if you fancy checking out Dumdum Donutterie (their sweet treats will change your life).

5. MAAD Plant Based

The perfect spot for some late-morning brunch, this cosy plant-based restaurant offers up some of the best grub in Westminster. Opening at 11:30am (every day except for Sundays, when it’s closed all day), our favourite brunch option is the Acai Bowl – perfect for one of those sunny London days.

6. Gianni’s Sandwich Bar

An Italian-style café is one of our breakfast spots to hit up before a long day of touring round the city. Whether you fancy a traditional Full English or an Italian breakfast, you’ll be sorted at Gianni’s Sandwich Bar. These filling breakfasts will have you stuffed and ready for the day. P.S they also serve some amazing traditional Italian sandwiches for a perfect lunch too – think mozzarella, pancetta and pesto ‘til you pop.

8. Namaaste Highgate

If you’re up for a unique brunch spot in Westminster, Namaaste Highgate should be on your hitlist. This stunning restaurant brings Indian homestyle cooking and street food together, serving up delicious dishes all day. If you’re stopping in for brunch (served from 12pm), try out the Railway Omelette with Shallots for a new and exciting choice.

9. Om Victoria

This quirky kiosk is ideal for those last-minute breakfasts – and as the name hints, ‘om’lettes are their specialty. Pick one of their classic oms for as little as £5 or go with something a tad more unique like The Club (filled with Crispy Bacon, fresh avocado, melted mozzarella and lite mayo) - or go absolutely crazy and create your own.

Oh, and if you're not sure of what to do in the area, here are 25 things to do near Buckingham Palace - you're sooo welcome.

10. Rail House Victoria

As if the stunning venue of this Westminster café wasn’t enough, the food served at the Rail House doesn’t disappoint either. We reckon this one is the perfect spot for breakfast on weekdays (open from 8am) and brunch at the weekend (open from 10am). FYI: You just have to try the toasted marshmallow and coconut pancakes - they're to die for. Pictured above.

11. Pimlico Fresh

Are you a firm believer in ‘the early bird gets the worm’? This is definitely the breakfast spot for you. Open from 7:30am, Pimlico Fresh serves up delicious breakfast dishes as well as sandwiches and comfort foods galore.

12. Lantana Café

If you plan on hitting up Regent’s Park, make sure to stop by Lantana Café for a sprinkle of Australia in Central London. Whether you fancy a quick grab-n-go breakfast (head through the ‘OUT’ door) or a chilled dine-in experience (enter through the ‘IN’ door), Lantana has something for you.
