Days out in Norfolk

And after a few days here, you’ll know why it’s a bit special. For starters, Norwich is England’s first UNESCO City of Literature, there’s live footy at Carrow Road and the gin tasting at Bullards is lush. If you fancy a day at the beach, take your pick from Great Yarmouth or Hunstanton.

But what else can you do in this chilled-out county?

How about channelling your inner Alan Partridge (A-ha!) at the Colman’s mustard museum? Or buying locally made jewellery or custom sports cars (if you’re feeling flush). And there’s lots of good stuff for kids. Banham Zoo has Siberian tigers and two-spot assassin bugs while Pleasurewood Hills has guaranteed thrills with the Wipeout and Cannonball Express rides.

Looking to make it a staycation? Find a Holiday Cottage in Norfolk - think thatched roofs, the Norfolk Broads and beautiful beaches.

Super scenery and loads for families to do – Norfolk’s a pretty nice place to be.
