Days out in Scarborough

Keep your kids busy with the likes of Sealife and Mini Monsterz indoor play. Betton Farm is brilliant too – farm animals, Yorkshire Wolds views and home baking. Nom nom. And all you need for a day at the beach is a bucket and spade and some ice cream. Plus a bit of sun (please).

What else is there to get up to in Scarborough?

The Central Tram has been running since 1881 and still does the job in style. Scarborough Castle has amazing views and lots of bloodthirsty history. And the Bike & Boot is a quirky place to stay – it’s dog-friendly and has a secret movie theatre and free cake. Ideal for holing up on a rainy day.

And if you’re really bored, sit on the world’s longest bench at Scarborough railway station. But things won’t get nearly that bad – honest!
